Dr. Gray is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and is on Active Staff at St Michael’s Hospital. Following an undergraduate degree at Trinity College and an MSc in Physiology at UofT, Dr. Gray completed her medical degree at Queen’s University. She then returned home to Toronto for her Ophthalmology Residency, receiving fellowship certification from both the Royal College in Canada and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Gray has served on the Executive Committees of both the Department of Ophthalmology and the OMA Section on Ophthalmology. As Director of Undergraduate Education for the Department, she received the Atkins Award in a faculty-wide competition for excellence in teaching and course design. Working towards retirement, Dr. Gray continues to teach medical students and residents the importance of comprehensive care with a special interest in medical glaucoma management.
She looks forward to more time with her 2 granddaughters and her already-retired husband and friends. Future plans also include more classical music, traveling, volunteering, and the cottage.
