A regenerative treatment for severe dry eye — made from your own blood, prepared in-clinic.
If artificial tears, prescription drops, or other treatments haven’t worked, Endoret® PRGF may be the next step. It uses your body’s own growth factors to help heal the surface of your eye — not just mask symptoms.
What is PRGF?
PRGF stands for Plasma Rich in Growth Factors. Unlike regular eye drops, these are made from a small sample of your own blood, then processed to concentrate healing proteins. Because they come from you, they’re preservative-free and well tolerated.
Is it right for you?
PRGF eye drops may be a good fit if you have:
- Moderate to severe dry eye
- Autoimmune-related dry eye (such as Sjögren’s syndrome)
- Neurotrophic keratitis or persistent corneal defects
- Dry eye following LASIK or other eye surgery
- Not responded to other dry eye treatments
How it works
Step 1: Blood draw
A small sample is collected at our clinic.
Step 2: Processing
Growth factors are isolated using a controlled medical protocol.
Step 3: Same-day pickup
Your drops are ready and dispensed the same visit.
Total appointment time: approximately 3–4 hours.
Benefits
- Regenerative healing, not just lubrication
- Preservative-free formula
- Reduces ocular surface inflammation
- Improves comfort and visual stability
- Supports long-term surface restoration
- Made from your own blood — highly biocompatible
Using your drops
Most patients use 1 drop in each eye, 3–4 times daily. One treatment cycle typically lasts up to 3 months.
Storage
- Keep unused droppers frozen
- Once thawed, store at room temperature (below 25°C) for up to 3 days
- Discard each dropper after 3 days
- Frozen droppers stay stable for up to 6 months
Side effects
PRGF drops are generally very well tolerated. A small number of patients experience mild, temporary burning, redness, or irritation — these usually resolve quickly.
